Broker handover pack

A set of charts and tables a new freight agent can read in a week: lanes, commodity mix, usual procedure codes, and the contacts who actually answer the phone.

Ask about this work

Interior of a high-bay distribution warehouse

A broker change often happens in a hurry: rates, service failures, or a group decision. The new agent then spends weeks reconstructing what you actually move. A handover pack is a courtesy to that agent and a defence for you — it records lanes, typical commodity chapters, the procedure codes you used, and who in your building answers origin questions.

You remain the client of record. We prepare the pack for you; you decide when it leaves the building.

Who it is for

Traders changing broker, or bringing a second agent onto a lane.

What you receive

A compact pack that reduces the first month of “what do you usually ship?” emails.

Scope

The last six or twelve months of entries, plus the people and document habits you want the new agent to copy.

Who prepares it

System Fieldpoint, with your operations lead on the contact sheet.

Time

Ten to fifteen working days.

Where the work sits

PDF you own; we do not email the broker unless you ask in writing.

How the work runs

  1. Period extract
  2. Draft
  3. Your red-pen on contacts
  4. Issue to you (you send to the agent)

What we ask you to prepare

Old broker files and a list of who signs commercial invoices.

Limits

The pack describes past entries. Future goods still need their own documents.

Fees

From £1,400 for a six-month window.

Name the incoming agent and the period you want summarised. Write from the contact page or see how we quote.
